Drop Watcher System
Ink Drop Observation System Ink Drop Watching
The Ink Drop Watcher System is equipped with a CCD high-speed camera detection system that captures and records data images and videos. With only the need to connect the trigger signal, any manufacturer's nozzle control board can observe the flight trajectory of ink droplets ejected from the print head. The system can automatically measure the speed and volume of inkjet droplets, allowing for the determination of matching status and stability between the nozzle control board voltage, pulse waveform, and ink.
Technical specifications:
Accessible ignition signal pulse width: 100ns-20000ns
Accessible TTL signal: 3.3V-10V
Automatic measurement of the speed of the same ink droplet: 0.1 meters per second to 20 meters per second.
Automatic measurement of volume: 1PL-200PL.
Measurement of roundness of ink droplets: 0-1.
Measurement of deviation angle of ink droplets.
Support for single and double ink droplet measurements simultaneously.
Measurable frequency range: 30HZ-100KHZ.
Automatic detection of printing frequency: 30HZ-100KHZ.
Adjustable brightness of LED flash: 1-100.
Imported camera: 1440*1080 pixels.
Lens magnification: 0.7-4.5.
Software can save current image format BMP.
Save video length: 1S-120S.
Automated saving of measurement data in Excel format.
Compatible with various piezoelectric print heads such as (FUJI DIMATIX-SPECTRA, XAAR, SEIKO, KONICA MINOLTA, EPSON, RICOH, KYOCERA, TOSHIBA, Panasonic), and the hot-foam print head HP.
Testing criteria:
When observing the flight trajectory of ink droplets, check for satellite points, trailing states, scatter, and oblique spray.
When printing grayscale images, observe whether the gray ink droplets add to the same ink droplet.
For multiple-row nozzle heads, observe whether the inkjet speed of the front and rear rows is consistent.
Check whether the nozzle control board matches the nozzle and ink. Whether the data of the nozzle control board is correct.
Modify nozzle parameters such as voltage, pulse waveform, and ignition frequency to analyze the status of ink droplets, in order to provide more suitable nozzle drive parameters for printing equipment.
